Stan Blyth

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that Stan Blyth passed away this morning.

Most of you will have known that Stan suffered a heart attack two weeks ago. Still in hospital Stan passed with his family at his bedside.

Stan was a true gentleman with many years a member of Sighthill BC where he has held the position of President, vice president and heavily involved with the seniors.

I’m sure you will all join me in passing our love and thoughts to the family at this sad time.

Further details will be announced later regarding Stan’s funeral.

WEBA Fixtures 2025

The West Edinburgh Bowling Association fixtures for season 2025 are now in our fixture menu. Only Division 1 is there as both our teams are in this division this year.

First game on the 16th of May is at 18:45 and it’s Sighthill A v Sighthill B. What a start to the season.

Best of luck to both teams this season. Shame they both can’t win it.
