Chris Walsh Memorial

The Chris Walsh Memorial Event is set to take place on May 20th this year, in honour of our beloved friend who we lost too soon. It promises to be a day filled with fun and laughter, as we remember the wonderful memories we shared with Chris.

The event is open to all who knew Chris, and we encourage you to come along and celebrate his life with us. The event will be held at Sighthill Bowling Club, providing the perfect setting for a day of remembrance and celebration.

Chris was a much-loved member of our club, known for his infectious personality and kind heart. He touched the lives of many, and his loss has been deeply felt by all who knew him.

We encourage all who knew Chris to attend the event, helping to keep Chris’s memory alive and reminding us of the wonderful person he was.

The Chris Walsh Memorial Event promises to be a day filled with love, laughter and memories. It is a chance for us to come together as a club, to celebrate the life of our dear friend and to honour his memory and the impact he had on our lives.

The final of the Bowls Scotland Triples (2022) was played on Sunday 30th April.

Gary Connelly, James Halliday and Craig Edgar defeated Jamie Ronaldson, Scott Lyell and John McDermott on an overcast and wet day by 21 shots to 5 with last end not played.
There were many fine bowls played by both teams but Gary, James and Craig just seemed to slowly pull away end by end.

Congratulations to Gary, James and Craig on a fine victory. Commiserations to Jamie, Scott and John.

Aaron Donald & Ross Noble played and defeated David & wee Gary Connelly 21-13.
