Apologies for the late postponement.

A reminder for members

An important reminder for members.

Over the closed season we will be redecorating and deep cleaning the Male locker room.

Starting on the 31 of October

Can you please put all bowls, bowl bags, shoes and clothing in your locker. Please remove all unwanted items from the locker room or place them in the bin.

Please remove any boxes, bowl bags including snooker/pool cues from the top of the lockers. Any items not removed will be deemed unwanted and placed in the BIN!

We don’t want to have to throw anything out so if there is anything you think you’ve left behind or not in your locker then please come to the club prior to the 31st and remove the items or put safely in your locker.

Thank you for your help

The Management Committee.

Belters Day

Beautiful weather for belters Day. A bit breezy but that didn’t stop the bar staff dragging club members kicking and screaming onto the green to partner them to win the cup

Staff were screaming at the members “we thought you could play!” But alas the members skill levels were on clear display and they were clearly lying about how good they were.

Nonetheless, the games commenced, drink was consumed in copious amounts and tempers flared (joking).

In the final, Ross Hendry and Carrie Reynolds played Ryan Ironside and Gary Aitken. Unfortunately Ross and Carrie left it a little too late for their comeback so Ryan and Gary won the trophy 8-3.

Congratulations to Ryan and Gary on winning the trophy. Commiserations to Ross and Carrie, you fought well.

Lastly, well done to everyone involved for making it such a good day. Now the bar staff can get their backsides behind the bar again and get me a Magners please 😅.
