What a terrific day was had by everyone who entered the Sighthill Bowling Club Open Triples event.

The sun was shining bright and with £1400 in total prize money there to be won a total of 28 teams were vying for the top prize.

A few shock results happened but everyone played great and all in good spirit as is always the case.

Congratulations to Paul, Pod and Dylan who were the eventual winners beating James Isbister, Alan Isbister and Ross Moodie in the final.

Well done to everyone who took part in the event.

Congratulations to Brian Malone, Robbie Hendry, Andy Duff and David Campbell for winning the internal competition, and commiserations to Grant Chalmers, Alan Clack, Davy Ferguson and Scott Chalmers. A very good and very close game.

The Bowls Scotland Triples winners were David Campbell, Yaba and Scott Lyell.

Big congratulations to the Crofters (Beijing Banquet 🤪) team on winning the Sighthill Cup for the second time. They join the Artful Dodger in winning the trophy twice, incidentally defeating the Dodger in the final.

Windy conditions affected the games for all teams but ultimately nothing was stopping the bowls or the fun.

All games were played in the spirit that the competition was originally set out to be which was fantastic.
