Good morning senior members.
The West Edinburgh Seniors 2nd Division and The West Edinburgh Seniors 3rd Division League and fixtures lists are now available to view on the Sighthill Bowling Club website.
You can view them by going to the website, select Club Sections, Seniors and select the league from the menu.

SENIORS UPDATE
The Seniors Committee met on Thursday and have decided the following:
On 5th May at 13:00 there will be a quick meeting to decide on the Seniors Committee for this year.
At 14:00 there will be a hat taking place, which will be pairs. Hats will then take place on a weekly basis.
Further news will follow once decisions are made on Competition.

Seniors Hats:
Alan Wharton would like to advise that the Senior Section are starting up the Wednesday hats from next week, 5th Aug – 1.30 for 2pm. Thanks
You will all be pleased to hear that you no longer need to book a rink for playing bowls. Due to the moderate relaxation of social distancing we can now have all 12 rinks available on a first come first served basis as it was previous to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please remember that everyone must sign the guest book when entering to continue with track/trace requirements.

Bowling will ‘hopefully’ start this week. We have been working hard to get a booking system in place for the rinks. There are rules that will need to be followed and they will be listed along with the booking form so please familiarise yourselves with them when the booking form goes live.
The link to the form is now on the website in the top menu. I’ve attached images to show you exactly where. The link is not live yet and takes you nowhere but it will be active whenever the club opens for bookings. I believe this may be this Thursday 28th for play on Friday 29th.
Due to social distancing guidelines, spectators and visitors are NOT ALLOWED in the club, it is strictly for play only. Therefore only members are permitted to book and play as long as they have a booking for a rink. Any questions regarding the policies then obviously you can always ask a committee member to clarify.
Booking a rink has some policies to allow fair participation although these may or may not be changed from now until opening pending review.
