PRICE INCREASE

I stated back in August at the last price increase that there would a review at the end of the bowling season. Based on further increases in our costs from the brewery, suppliers, etc where it was stated in the press the increases on alcohol I have no option but to further increase the prices on the bar.

All draught beer, lager and cider will increase by 20p

All bottle beers and ciders will increase by 20p

All spirits, liqueurs, wines and minerals will increase by 10p

These prices will be effective from Monday 17 October 2022.

FUNCTION HALL PRICE INCREASE

Due to the rising cost in energy and our costs we have no option but to increase the prices.

Main hall will now cost £100 for a party booking

Parties in the afternoon will cost £70

Funeral bookings will cost £50

Upstairs hall will now cost £70 for any type of party.

Funeral bookings will cost £50.

SKY TV

Despite several phone calls to Sky, which lasted nearly three hours, I have been unable to strike a deal with Sky to reduce our package to an affordable amount.

As I mentioned previously our 20% discount deal finished in September so our monthly bill for Sky is now £1446.00

With our costs rising again I can’t justify paying that amount of money each month when I’m trying to make savings to get us through this tough period.

So from Monday 8 November we will no longer have Sky TV.

All of these decisions on price increases and the removal of Sky TV have not been taken lightly and were discussed at the recent Committee meeting with agreement reached by all the Committee. I hope you all understand these steps that are being taken in order to get us through this testing period.
