The Les Ronaldson Pairs was played today on an overall good afternoon. 20 players were involved and there were a lot of close matches. John Green and Ross Hendry defeated Lesley Donald and Robbie Hendry in the final 6-3. Congratulations to both John and Ross and commiserations to Lesley and Robbie.

The Bowls Scotland Mixed Pairs final was contested tonight and the final was made up of Aaron and Leslie Donald playing against Gary Connelly and Natasha Young. Final result was 16-13 to the Donald’s. Congratulations guys.

The final was played between Aaron Donald and Jamie Ronaldson. The final result was 21-15 to Aaron. Well done to Aaron on his victory and commiserations to Jamie.

SUNDAY 20″ NOVEMBER 1.30pm Upstairs hall The Management committee would like to invite all members to a meeting on the date and time above. This is an informal meeting to discuss the clubs finances and the new cost of electricity and gas and how we can all work together to help the club.

Due to developments this week the meeting with the members on Sunday has been postponed. The Committee are now meeting on Sunday to find solutions before we can share with all. A new date will be selected for the meeting with the members. Apologies for the late postponement.

Afternoon all. Scotland’s First Minister has announced today that as from the 28th May, bowls can resume. We now await a statement from Bowls Scotland with the guidelines that Clubs have to follow. The Committee will be meeting to discuss further. We will update you all once we have more information.

In the current situation the decision has been made to have opening day on Saturday 11th April. Discs will be available at 1 O’Clock with the greens opening at 2 O’Clock.
